Assessed condition of entire roof. Provided several separate
estimates for repair, re-doing entire roof, re-roofing one
section of roof as prep for solar panels.

- Aside from the fact that two email requests for an
estimate appointment went unanswered, everything after the
first phone contact through the estimate visit and on to the
repair job went exceptionally well. The appointment for the
estimate was scheduled for 9:00 A.M. one morning and
representative Brooks arrived on the dot! I followed him up
onto the roof where he spent over 30 minutes taking
pictures, notes, measurements all the while providing me
with valuable information about my roof. Very professional
and honest. When another company rep showed up to do the
work (again on time), he toiled in the summer heat for about
4 hours before finishing up. He, too was very professional
and polite to my wife who was home this time. He also
secured a couple loose cement (trim) tiles that were hanging
dangerously in another section of the roof that I had
mentioned when the estimate was done. This was a pleasant
and welcome bonus. We are very pleased with Gryphon and will
definitely give them a call the next time we need help with
a roof issue or for any of the other services that they
offer.

were very efficient. They showed up later than they said
they were going to be there but they finished on time. I
would recommend them and use them again.

- Gryphon repaired two areas of my tile roof to
correct a leak that another company failed to repair after
two tries. They replaced fascia, repaired dry valleys and
replaced all flashing.
- Member Comments:
- The estimator arrived exactly when promised, and
provided a quotation on the spot. The work started about a
week later, even though it was raining. I'm impressed that
the workers worked in the rain, working for about 2 1/2
days. It has rained since, and the leak appears to be fixed.

removed existing tiles and old strips, replaced roofing
paper, strips and tiles, including repairing a rotted -out
section of roof near chimney. Area of work - about 1300
square feet.

- Well. They finished in one day. (Estimated at 2,
may 3 days.) The workmanship looks good, put the pool was a
mess from all the 'stuff' they kicked up.

- Scraped popcorn texture from soffit and porches;
scraped peeling paint from soffit and fascia; replaced
rotting wood from soffit and fascia; replaced drywall as
necessary on porches; resurfaced and plastered all soffit
and porches; removed two layers of old roofing and
underlayment; removed old flashing; installed new 30 lb
underlayment and 30 year shingles; installed new galvanized
flashing and sealed around all vents and openings.

- FANTASTIC! We interviewed and received bids from
half a dozen different roofing companies. We chose Gryphon
because of their reputation and the fact that their one
company could handle both the roof replacement and the
structural repairs we needed to have completed before we
could have the house painted. They did everything I expected
and MORE! Any and all concerns I had were addressed to my
complete satisfaction - even when I asked for a bit of
touch-up work. Truly, the over-all project turned out even
better than I had hoped. "Two thumbs up, WAY UP!"

square feet of roof.

- The estimator came out promptly, arrived on time
(early, actually) and prepared the estimate quickly. The
work was scheduled to be done just a couple of days later.
The crew didn't show up and didn't call us on the appointed
day, which was disappointing. I called the company that
afternoon and they couldn't reach the crew to find out what
happened. I called the next business day at 7:30 am and was
told the crew had truck trouble. The woman I spoke to was
very apologetic and said the crew was on its way to our
house. The crew did arrive that morning and completed the
job that day. The cleanup was great; you would never know
they had been there.

- I had a partial leak in my garage roof and they
repaired it with new tile. It was about a 20 by 25 foot area
that they repaired.
- Member Comments:
- They stayed late to finish the job and to get it
done. They got the job done to our satisfaction and they
tried hard to work with us on what we wanted. The roof has
not leaked since they repaired it and we are happy about
that. They were fair and did good work.

I warned both you and your crew that my husband, a construction
defect consultant, would be very picky about any work performed on
the house, but even I was not prepared for his reaction. I am
writing to let you know that he is extremely impressed by the
quality of workmanship on the patio lid and columns. He also gave
a thumbs up on the pony wall stucco (though he thinks it might
have needed to cure a bit before it was painted, but he is not
concerned). He said, and I agree, that the crew was 100%
professional, the price completely in line with his expectations,
and the work was top notch. Thank you very much for doing an
outstanding job. We have much more to do and we look forward to
using and recommending Gryphon on future projects.

Over the years I have had
many repairs done but never have I experienced the satisfaction
that I experienced with your company.
From the very first day when I called, I was treated like royalty.
The girl that I talked to, listened to my problem and then made an
appointment for the next day to have the inspection and estimates.
The next day Brooks came out and gave me an estimate and full
explanation including pictures and the cost of repairs. He
also scheduled, at our convenience, a day for repairs. On
April 11th two men showed up and made the necessary repairs.
They then cleaned up the debris and told me that they were
finished and left.

for a new roof in January 2006. The installation
was completed on February 4,2006. Shortly
thereafter we had a rain storm. There was a leak
which Gryphon promptly repaired.
However, I was not
satisfied with the overall appearance of the roof.
Some areas of the roof appeared damaged and
unsightly.
Here is the
wonderful news. Gryphon Companies, Inc. responded
to my concerns and could not have been more
attentive, professional, thorough, and
quality-oriented in its desire to see reparation
